Crazy Hectic Week of Life
I haven’t been on much lately. This past week has been absolutely crazy. We’ve had night after night of tornado warnings. One night there was actually one spotted over our town from another state, and the mayor decided he didn’t want to scare the people, so he didn’t sound the alarm. The excuse was that it was almost out of the area, a lot of people are mad. So we’ve been in limbo for the last 2 weeks. Daughter has missed some tae kwon do because the storms coming barreling down. My female dog Darcy was so scared she jumped in the bath tub. She’s terrified of storms- looks like the creature on Jurassic Park that attacked the guy in the Jeep.
Yesterday, the home next to us burnt almost down and almost caught our home on fire as well. The tree in-between was on fire. We received a phone call to hurry up and get home because of our dogs: Darcy and Mason. I am very thankful to have my home and my pets today. It makes you appreciate the small things. The home is a total loss, but no one was hurt or killed so that’s the important thing. Time will tell what the cause of the fire was.
