		<description>Ya,

I did find a way around the gardening thing. I put my garden in pots which is the only way I can do it. I make up the pots in my porch which keeps me out the sun enemy. Something that&#039;s suppose to be your friend can be your enemy.....</description>

<description>The things that frustrate me about having lupus?
1. Feeling really crappy but not looking sick.
2. Having to avoid UVA/UVB light .. no gardening, no
more hanging out at the pool, no florescent light,
3. Copays for doctor visits and the cost of meds! Why
can&#039;t they prescribe something that works AND is
    affordable?
4. Getting 10 hours sleep and waking up exhausted.
5. Taking steroids. Bad, bad, really bad stuff.

I could go on forever but I won&#039;t :)
Next time, maybe a list of what&#039;s good about having a chronic illness? If you can come up with anything.

<description>yes, I totally agree with you. My daughters ADHD brings me a lot of frustration. I love her a lot and its difficult to help her at times. Many times she tells me she feels like her head is spinning and I can understand that. We both at times can get quickly overwhelmed. I know she gets very frustrated with dealing with a mom that&#039;s sick daily. I would not wish this on anyone especially a child. It takes a lot of patience. I think God decided I needed a lot of &quot;teachings&quot; in patience. I wrote about my garden in another post and that took much patience and I&#039;ve been blessed with lots of growth and a few side dishes of bugs or birds. In my site I also wrote about acceptance and that&#039;s difficult. Sometimes I have to put my self in someone elses shoes just to understand things better.

<description>The hardest part for me is feeling helpless. My husband suffers from migraine headaches. Every time I think we have &#039;em licked they come back. This week he has had a headache everyday. Sometimes I feel lonely for a partner. I’ve spent almost 50 years tending and tippy toeing around someone else’s invisible illness – not just his.

Yesterday I really had to admit that this may be the way it is vs. something to be fixed.

Today I am adjusting to that thought and looking for what I can control or change about myself to make life easier and happier.

So far here is my list:
1. Add a 1/2 comedy show everyday - UP the happy hormones.
2. Buy Lavender essence oil - that scent relaxed me.
3. Keep my focus on what is working in our lives instead of what is frustrating me.
4. Write a daily gratitude list.
5. Accept him exactly how he is right now vs how I hope he will be …
6. Stay connected to loving, positive friends and be that friend!

Great topic. Thanks.

Viveca
