Dealing with Someone’s Addictions
Seeing a family member deal with addiction can be so devastating. I saw my own family members struggle with it. Most of them still do. It causes strife in our families. One of the things I’ve wished all my life is that my family members would go into Alcohol Rehabilitation. The ongoing merry go round of having a family member with an addiction is difficult. There are the many ups and downs of emotions. Sometimes a family member goes into Drug Rehabilitation and it helps the first time. Other people have to go to rehab multiple times. Cliffside Malibu is a rehab center located in California that offers superior living quarters. They have a beautiful Pacific Ocean view with a tranquil feel. It’s a place any of my family members would be able to relax while getting Drug Treatment services. A lot of people try rehab once and think it’s the cure all, but many times they have to try over and over again. Once a family member leaves rehab it takes a lot to stay clean. It’s easy to go back to the old ways that is why it’s important to continue your rehabilitation program when you leave. One day I would be thrilled if my family members would recover from alcoholism and drug addictions.

It has to be very painful to watch someone you love in a position where you’re unable to effectively help.

I can’t imagine myself dealing with this problem if it happens to any of my love one. I can imagine the pain of the parents.
