Trying to Find a Cordless Heating Pad

October 10th, 2008

I am having a lot of pain in my back lately. Its really annoying having to be hooked to a heating pad to get some relief. I am wanting to get a heating pad I can use without being attached to the wall. I’ve tried using rice and it don’t seem to keep the heat long enough. I have seen so many, but I don’t which one to chose. I need something that’s reusable. Those ones on TV are temporary and it would cost me a fortune to buy them all the times. I am really stumped about this.
Has anyone had any experience with cordless heating pad?

never heard of a cordless heating pad. i use the regular one, in fact last night. what is the cause of your back problems. i go to a chiro and i use a portable TENS Unit. Do a search on TENS unit to see if its for you.

I’ve used a tens unit for a few years off and on. Many times I forget I have the darn thing until after a flare. I need a flare check list- LOL :)

I have found battery operated heating pads at ELECTRIC BLANKET.NET. Looks like they work similar to our cell phones, plug them in to charge them up and then you can get up to 6 hours of heat. I suffer from fibromyalgia and myofacial pain myself and have to deal with a lot of back pain, i will be purchasing one of these for myself now that i have found them :) Hope this helps
