When my daughter was a toddler I had to purchase health insurance for her. She has asthma and ear problems so I had to pay extra for her health insurance. It was important to have insurance because she was sick all the time. I spent many sleepless nights sitting up with her when she was sick. It was enough being a young mother without having a sick child. I shopped around for a long time trying to find health insurance. A lot of plans were too expensive for my budget. It would have been nice to have the internet so that I could shop around for health insurance. I had to call around for quotes to many different insurance companies. At Kaiser health Insurance company you can apply for insurance online and get quotes. They have insurance plans for California and Georgia. It’s easy to apply and it saves time from having to call on the phone to an agent. They have a toll free number so you can call if you have any questions. The website is easy to navigate and has an in depth frequently asked questions section. I know this would have made my life easier buying health insurance. If you have health insurance it can save you possibly thousands of dollars

You could also go to a website that offers mulitple quotes from mutliple companies. Having some insurance is better than no insurance. Buy the best you can afford if you can’t afford to buy a policy that gives you everything you want.
Both of my children got life insurance after they turned a year old. They are healthy, but God forbid something happen, it costs like 15,000 dollars to bury someone. Unless you have that money set aside somewhere it is very hard to come up with. Plus if you buy whole life, it accrues value, and when they go to college, need a car, or get married they can take out what has been earned to be put to good use.
Having health insurance is very important and you’re right – it can save lots of money. Access to internet definitely helps in choosing the right plan!
Having it versus not can save in a lot of ways. Individuals who aren’t covered are potentially exposed to a lot of liability. We had an incident in North Carolina where a state-supported hospital (UNC Hospital)actually tried to take a couple’s home from them. Get this—they had health insurance. The only thing was, the cost of treatment exceeded the limits of the policy. The only reason UNC Hospital backed off from trying to take their home was that the Raleigh Observer paper ran a story on it and it caused outrage.
