Before my daughter was born we had to buy Wooden Childrens Furniture for her room. It was an exciting time in my life. I was expecting my now pride and joy. It was a hard choice of what kind of furniture to purchase at the furniture store. I bought wooden furniture because of its durability and strong life because kids can be hard on furniture. When she got older I purchased a Kids Desk so she could learn to color and paint. She turned out to really like to experiment with art work. She would amaze me with the creations of making outfits out of paper. One time she constructed an entire wardrobe out of paper. Sadly the paper did not last long, but I do have pictures of her in her paper clothes. When she turned 13 we bought her brand new Kids Bedroom furniture. I was careful about buying furniture that was durable and hopefully last until she goes to college. When I purchased the furniture I made sure it was kid proof even though she is a teen. Even teens can beat up furniture. Being able clean up the furniture with a simple swipe of an old rag and furniture polish is important to me. I need something like that because of my limitations because of living with lupus. I put a clear piece of plastic over the top of her desk to protect it.

I always preferred solid wood furniture as well. It just seems to last so long. My daughter’s bed is wood and it used to be my mom’s when she was little. It went through my mom, my sister, and now my daughter. Talk about your money’s worth.
