I Want a Van Like Yesterday

March 24th, 2009

When I purchase another vehicle it will definitely be a van. I would like a van that has a ramp so I could easily take my wheelchair in and out of it with little to no help by others. It would be great to have this kind of independence. I think this is especially important for someone with disabilities. It’s sometimes easier to let other do things for you. I will probably buy a foreign vehicle because I’ve had good luck with two of my vehicles that were foreign in the past. First, I would have to check out prices for insurance on the van prior to making a purchase. A lot of people forget to check out the prices on auto insurance prior to purchasing the vehicle. I’ve learned the hard way to always check out Van Insurance prices. I like to have full coverage on my vehicles especially if I don’t have the money to replace the vehicle in case of an accident. I am careful about what kind of coverage I purchase because I want to make sure that my family is covered in cases of accident. I’ve been hit twice in less then a year by reckless drivers in the past. I am careful about how high the deductible is because accidents happen. I don’t want to be stuck with a $2000.00 deductible and not have the money to cover the deductible. It’s always important to check out the insurance company before purchasing a policy from them. You don’t want any surprises after you’ve been involved in an accident. I was fortunate that my deductible was low and they covered all of my medical care. So I was able to worry about healing and not a bunch of bills mounting from lack of coverage. I just had the typical co-pays not the entire bill. It comes down to being smart when you purchase an automobile and auto insurance.
