Breast Cancer Awareness Month is October

October 7th, 2009

Just to remind all the women that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Women over 35 should get a mammogram once a year to check for breast cancer. Being a daughter of a breast cancer survivor it’s important to me. For more information on getting a mammogram check the Susan G. Komen Foundation. For those of that money is a factor check with your local social service agencies about free mammograms. In my community there’s an agency that covers the price for mammograms
