Consumers have been using touch screens for years without thinking anything of it. It all started in the 1960’s and they’ve exploded since. Just about everywhere you go there are touch screens, recently I was looking at laptop computers and I was surprised they have touch screens. Everyone has used a touch screen at least once in their life. Touch screen are at restaurants, ATM’s, copy machines and many other places. The first time I really paid attention to touch screens was at the emergency room when I had a severe anxiety attack. The doctor was tapping in a prescription for anxiety medication.
