Father’s Day Gift Tips

June 10th, 2011

Purchasing the right gift for the right person isn’t easy. The best way to pick a perfect gift is buying something the person uses daily or at least on a regular basis. Let’s say you’re buying something for your father. If he wears a tie everyday a tie would be a great gift. But if you’re Dad doesn’t wear ties you’d need a different gift. Your gift needs to match the person’s likes and personality. Another great way to buy a Father’s Day gift for your father is buying something related to their hobby. My father has worked with rabbits since before I was born so a current rabbit book would be a great gift him. Another great idea for him would be something to work in the yard such as edge cutter or new pair of pruning shears. It’s important to choose a gift that your father will enjoy to make it a personal gift.http://www.savings.com has a lot of coupons that can be used on and offline. They have coupons for online and offline store coupons. You can search for local deals by zip code. Then you’ll see all the coupons in your area and you can print out the coupons. On the site you can find coupons for book stores.

Looking for Deals all over the Web

June 26th, 2009

Today, I was looking all over the internet for some new shoes for my daughter. She wants a pair of Etnies in pink and black. I don’t even know if they sell those colors together. I’ve surfed all over the web until I’m blue in the face. Kids sure do ask for the darndest things. On my travels through cyberspace, I found a site called Best Online Coupons that offers Endless Shoes and Handbags promotional code . They’ve got a coupon for just about everything. I was surprised how many of the big companies offer great deals. I need to buy a new freezer so I’m going to look for coupon codes for Sears or Target or somewhere else that sells chest freezers. I’m trying to get out of the deliver fee of $65.00 on top of the price of the freezer and that doesn’t include the $10.00 haul away fee. I remember when you could get free delivery and they would take the old one away for free. It’s sad when they want to nickel and dime you for everything. I’m hoping to find a coupon code to save a few bucks. I found a coupon code for Petsmart, which will save me 12% on my purchase of dog collars and leashes. My dog’s retractable leash has seen better days and the collars are stretched out. I’m going to purchase a martingale collar for my male dog for some training. I love this site so much I’m bookmarking it.

September 28th, 2008

Officedeals.info is a website that has a variety of coupons, free shipping and promo codes available to save you money online. Unlike a lot of similar sites it’s easy to navigate, friendly to the eyes and easy to understand. I have found this site super user friendly especially when you want to make purchases quickly.

When you have a home office you need a lot of office supplies. I know myself at home I use a lot of printer ink. I print a lot of things for my daughters school work. Some weeks I use more ink then others and it can go into a small fortune. I can save a lot of money on printer ink with coupon codes.

I buy a lot of my daughter clothes from Target. I like the high quality clothing at a low price. Officedeals.info has a lot of coupons. Now that prices are so high, it’s helpful to save a few bucks with the economical crisis. You can get coupons for shoes, fragrance, women’s clothing, and even free shipping on furniture.

You can find a lot of promo codes for Newegg  for a variety of electronics. The promo codes include a lot of your popular brand names such as Apple and Kodak, just to name a few things. Its amazing how many great deals you can find.

Officedeals.info has coupons for stamps which helps with all the prices of stamps going up. It seems like each year the prices of stamps goes higher and higher. I like the convenience of buying stamps and stamp related items online and saving money at the same time.

Finding the perfect deal for the money I want to spend is important especially with our economy being so bad right now. Many of us are scrapping the bottom of the barrel and need as many coupons as we can find.

As many of my readers know I’m a dog lover. I buy my pet supplies from PetsMart. I always look for coupons before I buy any of their pet supplies and dog food. My dogs are picky eater so I have to buy the same food each time for both of them. Being able to get a discount at PetsMart saves me a lot of money.

How to Save Money on a Tight Budget

August 30th, 2008

Many of us are trying to find ways to save money, so I decided to share a few things I do to save money.

1. I match up the coupons with the store ads. Many times the stores know when the coupons are coming out. Sometimes its not smart to buy the items right then because many times the stores increase the prices when the coupons come out.

2. I quit using downy or any alternative for a few diffrent reasons. I’ve noticed that the downy is watered down and the price is almost the same price as a gallon of gas. I never thought I would be paying the same price for gas and downy. I now use 1/2 cup of vinegar in my downy ball and it works well. You don’t have to worry about having a vinegar smell and your clothes are still soft. I have used up to a whole cup of vinegar and still have no vinegar residue

3. I decide on my grocery list by what’s on sale in the store ads. Sometimes the prices aren’t sales so you have to watch out for this.

4. I use coupons for a lot of my purchases.

5. If I go to a store that’s suppose to have something on sale and they ran out I ask for a rain check. This also works great because you can find a coupon to go with the rain check.

6. Some stores you can use a manufactured coupon and a store coupon. You should check with the store.

7. CVS had a great program called extra care bucks where you use a red and white card that looks like a credit card. You can this and save a lot of money. You get extra care bucks when you purchase certain items. A couple of weeks ago I bought 5 bottles of dawn dish detergent for thirty some cents. You can also save a lot on toothpaste by matching the coupon up with the store ads.

Well, right now I can’t think of any other ways I save money. When I remember them all I will share them with you. So, Happy Saving Money…

Another Grocery Store Shop That Cost A Fortune

August 7th, 2008

Today we went to the grocery store and it felt like we spent an arm and a leg. Luckly we came across some good five for five buck deals. We had to watch the deals real close because sometimes they really weren’t a deal. We did manage to buy five 2lb bags for 5 bucks and my daughter was blessed to cut 4 of the 5 bags up to freeze. I can’t cut the onions out because I’m real sensetive to the odor the onion gives off. I am thankful for that. We did manage to save 10.00 in coupons. It may not sound like much, but it was a savings. When your on a shoe string income every little bit helps.
