Since I have been dealing with the lupus I have struggled to figure out what is the point of sickness. I think the biggest thing it has given me is the ability to appreciate the small things in life. Every day I see my daughter smile there is no amount of money that could take the place of her smile every morning. Her love is like the rivers it over flows to me and my family. It is not many times when a teenager is so beautiful both inside and out. Plus shows everyone she touches such love.

Buying a new clock is an exciting thing to do if you’re a wall clock collector like me. We’ve had a clock that displays the time, date, day of the week, and temperature for years, it’s been an accurate clock, but it’s not keeping good time anymore. The clock has been 10 minutes fast for a few months, which can be helpful if you’re running late, but annoying when you’re watching a show on television. I found a new wall clock called Seth Thomas Weather Station and it’s very similar to mine. This clock looks like a better quality one than the one I have hanging on my wall. The one I have on my wall has the temperature, date, day of the week, and time, but the new one has an alarm and the outside temperature too. The wall clock I like is dark and light grey with a square box in the middle that displays the time at the top in larger print and the other information on the bottom from left to right. A clock like this is great for my family because we check the temperature all the time to decide what to wear outside. Presently, we have the clock on our kitchen wall above the water cooler.

Deciding to get some help with a drug and alcohol problem is a very difficult decision. This time of year it is especially difficult for a lot of people. It seems like this time of year brings out the worse with addictions and depression especially if it’s untreated. Many people decide to wait until after the holidays to go into an Alcohol Rehab Program because they do not want to leave family and friends during the holidays. Going into an Alcohol Rehabilitation Program can be the best gift to your family because they don’t have to see you hurting your self by using alcohol and drugs. They can feel at peace that you are getting some help with you addictions. It’s actually a priceless gift to your family, but most of all yourself. It would be a good way to bring in the New Year with a clean slate. Many people make New Year resolutions to lose weight, and exercise, but you could easily make your new years resolution to stay clean and sober. A lot of Alcohol Rehabs have great programs to help your family be supportive to you or they can direct your family to find meetings such a Alanon or ACOA for people affected by another persons addiction. Just think of it this way that your sobriety is a priceless gift to your family. I wish you many good things in the New Year as you climb up the ladder called life.

Being able to keep in touch with your employer has become easier with Webinars. You can now talk and meet with your boss online anytime with Web Conferencing. Many people find it easier to talk online face to face without going into the office. You still get that personal feel without the commute. The advantages of Webinar is being able to see your boss so you can easily read your bosses body language, unlike using instant messaging which is online text. You can be employed in a different state easier. This becomes an advantage especially if you’re looking for a new job as a lot of people are today. You can use this as an advantage when interviewing for a job. This opens up a lot of opportunities for work at home people to live in one state and be employed in another state. This is great for family staying in touch with their loved ones. You can record the conferences if someone cannot attend the conference. This is perfect for anyone in any place in the world to keep in touch with their employer, family, or friends. This would be good for someone to talk with their doctor when they can not visit the doctor’s office as well.

These two flower picture are bachelor buttons, my daughter took them using her hand to show them upclose. They took forever to bloom and at one point I thought about pulling them out because they looked more like grass, then a flower. They remind me a lot like carnations. I guess the long wait was worth it after all. It shows a lot that patience does pay off in many instances. Patience is not something I’m very good at in many ways. Somewhere I read that patience is a virtue- It seems to be so true. Having a child whose got ADHD teaches you patience in many ways, Its something I’m thankful for each day.
