As a kid, I enjoyed dressing up anytime I could for a good dress up party. I loved dressing up as a witch for Halloween ugly warts and all. I did this for five years. My mom tried and tried to get me to be something else. I love going to Costume Stores. But I didn’t want to be anything else. I was always the first one to dress up in a Plus Size Costumes . I haven’t dressed up in a long time, but it would be fun to dress up one more time. I would love to dress up as a butterfly with beautiful glitter purple wings.

Our pumpkin that we used a strobe light inside instead of a candle. We didn’t want to start a fire if we left it unattended. I just washed off the light when Halloween was over.

Are you ready to celebrate Halloween? I know it’s hard to believe 2009 is almost over and it’ll be 2010. I don’t even want to think about December because of Christmas. For Halloween I like to let my inner child come out and play. It’s the only day she can come out and no one will say I’m weird. It’s fun to dress up in different wigs and imagine being someone else. I like to create my own costume with a dress, wig and hat. I was a witch for five years when I was an adolescent. For some reason I loved being a witch and my mom was pretty at creating the ultimate witch, warts and all. I used to wear a black wig with green highlights. We used a can of spray hair color. We always found something new to add to the costume. One year we added a wart to the end of my nose that we found at costumes for plus size
My brother wanted a new costume every year. He dressed up as the karate kid and he really got into it. After Halloween, my mom had to take him down a notch because he was trying to karate chop everyone and everything. He was very hyperactive and still is as an adult. He hates staying in one place for very long. Another year, he decided to be a witch just like me and I was not happy about it at all. My mom told me he was a vampire with a hat to get me to shut up. It wasn’t until years later I realized he was a witch just like me. Now as an adult I think it’s pretty cool that one of my brothers looked up to me.

Well it seems another year has past for Halloween. I let my daughter design and carve the pumpkin by herself. This is the results we got. It was interesting watching her carve the pumpkin without any help. Originally she said the pumpkin was suppose to be scary, but she ended up making it a cat pumpkin, but the ironic thing we have never had a cat. Its not that we don’t like cats its just that we have 2 dogs that do not like cats. She didn’t get to go trick r treating because she was sick. She gets sick every year around Halloween. Last year I almost didn’t let her go because she was sick. Luckily she was feeling better. She has a tendency to get sicker easily.

Looks Pretty Good for a first time pumpkin carver, don’t you think? Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween

Bilaal Rajan is an inspiration to all around the world. His perseverance has raised over $5 million dollars for many charities. This young boy has defied himself by writing a book called; Making Change: Tips for the Underachiever. Now he is the youngest Ambassador for UNICEF. UNICEF is the little boxes the trick r treaters come to the door and say “Trick r Treat for UNICEF .In just 8 years this young boy has achieved more then most of us will in a lifetime. Even after publishing his book he wants to continue to make a difference in the world. The book costs $12.95 without shipping. The book is available in hard back, soft cover and audio book. Now even the child who can not read can listen to Bilaal Rajan on audio book. This is such a low price to help this kid continue his dreams of helping others. In all honesty we need more people like this. We would have less people go hungry and less anger in the world. This kid is an inspiration to me in many ways. I have always believed kids need to volunteer to help the community. My daughter does her part by working as a volunteer at the library.

This year my daughter will probably spent with her tae kwon do friends. It will be her first year spending Halloween with her tae kwon do friends. I prefer the alternate to Halloween, rather then the traditional going door to door. It’s safer and reserves the little energy I have because of the lupus. A few years she’s chose to stay home and hand out candy. I don’t like fighting with the store crowds so I prefer to shop online. I have seen a lot of places now have Plus Size Costumes for kids and adults. Halloween costumes so often come in standard sizes and not plus sizes. Now you can buy plus size costumes from Halloween Costume Stores . It’s easy convenient and allows me to shop longer then my body will allow me. We usually buy a few bags of candy to give out for Halloween. We usually buy those silly dum dum lollypops because they come in so many different flavors and they are cheap to buy. Just today I bought a few bags of candy. I love this time of year because the candy is cheaper. We usually keep the candy in the freezer because it melts so easily in the hot weather. It’s usually a sign Halloween is around the corner when the weather changes enough to turn off the air. We usually get a lot of kids for Halloween. Many of the kids try to sneak back for more candy or invent a little brother or sister. I can remember doing the same thing as a kid. It’s amazing sometimes how much things really haven’t changed. Kids think their tricks are new and they are not new.
