exercise have been proven to have many benefits, however the intensity and duration should depend on the health level of the person. I am sure your doctor have adviced you on this my friend

I really enjoyed the post about benefits of Exercise but I must admit as I get older I find it more difficult to face the pain I know I will have with each time I exercise. I have slacked off the past two weeks. I feel worse when I don't exercise but when I do exercise I have a lot of pain. A lot. This post was a good reminder for me that I have to face the music, regardless. Thank you. Laurie Beggin, Lupus since 1986

Hi Chronic Chick,
I agree with you that even those with chronic illnesses should find time to exercise. I have congenital scoliosis (a deformity in the lower back) and I have to exercise, otherwise I would find myself unable to walk or move. I do some stretching and walking exercises. They are also good for my diabetes. Thanks for the post. God bless you always my friend.
