I was reading a good post on Chronic Babe. It was a great post about trying something new. Its actually a really inspiring article. She shares that we should try something new. I know that I allow the lupus to limit me a lot with the “I will pay for this”. I get stuck in that a lot because I fear the pain and I fear the exhaustion. Its not very healthy but its the honest truth. I hate pain even though its been a part of my life for over six years. You would think someone would get use to living with pain, but you don’t you just learn its your “normal”. That is where I am. If I don’t hurt I wonder what is going on. In this essence I want to hide from the pain. Its held me back in life so much. I don’t know why I let it, but I do. Well I think I’m going to be inspired to try something new even if it does hurt. Right now, I’m not sure what I’m going to try new, but I think I will try something new for me. Often times its easy to get stuck in the “I’ve got a chronic illness.” Its an easy way to let your potenital go down in the trash can and it does that well. I am going to try and work throught this and I hope you can reach your potential too. Be sure to check out Chronic Babe’s article

just believe what you can do and what you think is fun. only to do that, we can forget the pain. still believe that we can get through with the good and make sure that we can get in well
I just want to let you know that I really enjoy your blog and I left you an award for you to pick up on my blog : )
Hi Chronic Chick!
I, too, have decided to try something new. I am tired of letting my illness get the best of me. So, for the last month, I have been trying new pain relief techniques. And, I must say, with surprising results.
So for I have post two of them on my blog. If you decide to try one of them, due let me know your results. For me, they have not been cures. However, they have and are helping with the pain.
There is a poll on my blog so others can report their results.
I am headed over to Chronic Babes to read her article.
