It's good your daughter's so appreciative. Some kids don't appreciate anything and they don't take care of it. I know one Christmas my parents didn't have much but that's the Christmas I remember the most, and I thought it was a great Christmas.

You know what? I have lupus too and its OK to be angry sometimes. Because it really does suck, doesn't it? Anger is a normal human emotion. So that means being authentic, like you are :)

Don't be angry. I'm sure your family understands that this is beyond your control. It is a test from God to you and to your family too. But rather than taking it negatively, why not make use of it, to bring you, your family and friends closer together. Make your family a close-knit family. Embrace it, accept it, rather than deny it and live in hate.

It's already a blessing that your daughter is the appreciative kind, no matter what she gets. Giving things, expensive things, they never last long. The love for it, the appreciation for it will die just as fast as receiving it. But giving love, even through simple thing like writings, they live forever, because you're leaving a piece of you that can never be exchanged into something else.

Smile, and you will see sunshine..

Sister, when was a child I'm so happy when my mom give me a gift, especially a marionette doll. I keep it...
That's a good idea to write a post card, i believe that your lovely daughter will keep it as I do. She will open it and read it again and again when she grow up, she will smile and sometimes she will cry because sh loves you and miss you much... I do...

Give smile and kisses to your daughter every time every day...
