Wordpress Help Please :)

Hello My Fellow Bloggers,

I am wanting to revamp my site to have its own feel. I downloaded a new theme that is totally blank slate, but I want to add my own back ground for the colors from paper I created and my own header, but I don’t know how to do it. If someone could help me or give me a direction of where to go. The theme kit I downloaded is from WP Themer kit. I just want my own theme that no one has. If anyone has some in-site on how to add my own background and header I would appreciate it.

Hi thanks for the urls. I really want to be able to put my own background and header. Its important to me because I want to share my awareness of chronic illness in my theme.I did find some really pretty themes thought.

i can’t find the theme you want to use in the link you provided. but if its about your header you might want to check the header.php in you wordpress. if your desired theme has already an existing header all you have to do is change the .jpg in the img src.

if you already have your own header just upload it in your server and change the url of the image in your stylesheet and sometimes in the header.php. upload the header you made and replace the URL of the old header to your new header uploaded. make sure it has the same width, height and path name!
example. your old header is header.png the width is 920x 120 . make sure you make your new header the same size and with the same name header.png! goodluck!
